Privacy Policy
Last Updated: January 21, 2026
At auditmydevice.com, we believe privacy is a human right. Unlike other IP checkers, we have designed our architecture to be stateless. This means we literally have no database to store your history.
1. The "No-Database" Architecture
We do not maintain a server-side database of user logs. When you use our scanning tools, the following happens:
- IP Address: Your IP is processed instantly in RAM to determine your location (City/Country) and is then immediately discarded.
- Fingerprint Data: All fingerprint analysis (Canvas, Audio, Font enumeration) happens Client-Side (in your browser). We do not receive or store your unique hash.
- Location Data: We use third-party APIs (like ipapi) to look up your coordinates, but we do not associate this with your personal identity.
2. Affiliate Disclosure
We are reader-supported. Some links on this site (e.g., to VPN providers) are "affiliate links." If you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission. This allows us to keep the tool free without selling your data to advertisers.
3. Cookies & Analytics
We use minimal, privacy-focused analytics to count aggregate site visitors (e.g., "100 visitors today"). We do not use "Cross-Site Tracking" pixels (like Facebook Pixel or Google Ads) that follow you around the web.
4. External Connections
Our tools may check connections to external servers (e.g., STUN servers for WebRTC tests). These requests are standard networking protocols required to perform the audit and are not used for tracking.
